Visualization

Another very cool technique that you can learn to use with your mind, is that of visualization. For most people, we have memories that don’t produce images. When you are remembering things from the past, we tend to associate with the emotions or feelings we felt during that time. How someone made us feel, or the adrenaline rush of the excitement. We can describe details, from our memory, but we can’t actually see the object we are describing. This is why when police need a description of a criminal, they need several witness’s to describe details of what the person looked like, before a sketch artist can attempt to recreate the criminals face. It’s also why witness’s can never be sure who the criminal is, when looking at a line-up.

However, there is an ability that human beings have, called visualization. Once you have learned to meditate, and move energy around your chakra’s, you can feel them. It is the third eye chakra, where visualization occurs. You have the ability, to see memories, or thoughts, in perfect detail. You can see the smallest details, colors, and scenery just like you could, if you were there. The reason I am writing about this, is because for the first time the other night, this happened to me. I was not expecting it to happen, nor was I trying to make it happen, but suddenly, I started seeing images in my mind. I saw the face of a girl, that I’ve never met before. Then I started thinking about other things, wildlife, I saw an ape, and an eagle, then I saw a beautiful view with trees and a lake in the background. I was using my thoughts to bring images out, and it was incredible! It was a really neat experience.

This made me understand people with a photographic memory a little better. Which is also known as Eidetic memory. This brings me right back to Nikola Tesla! Remember how in a previous post about Tesla, I mentioned how he could make his inventions, completely inside of his head, see the flaws in design, see the working product, and then build it to perfection, without having to write anything down or make any blueprints? Well I now understand how this is possible. Tesla was literally able to see, in precise details, exactly how to put his inventions together. There was no guess work. He would design it in his head, and if the design in his head didn’t fit, he would redesign it until he saw a perfectly good working machine. No time and effort required, no money wasted, wouldn’t that be a nice ability to have?

There is a difference between imagination and visualization, with imagination, we have the ability to create our own details and make it as we want it to be. With visualization, you literally see images of something that already exists, something your sub-conscious has stored, and showing you in exact detail. So if you are able to recall your memories or thoughts and visualize them, you would be able to give a description to the sketch artist and every feature of the criminals face. From every wrinkle, mole, or receding hairline. It would be like you were describing the person, by staring at their picture. Many problems in life can be solved, when you have learned how to use this ability. I have only been able to do this once. But it is something that I certainly will be learning to develop over time. It is not something that can be learned overnight but with practice it should get better.

I think my first experience with visualization occured when I had my first experience. When I mentioned travelling through the universe, seeing light, I could actually see this, with my eyes closed. This is just another missing piece of the puzzle, of me trying to figure out what happened to me. So far I have discovered, the akashic records, visualization, chakra’s, kundalini, ego vs self, and the divine! It has been an awesome journey of self discovery so far. Where it is going, I have yet to discover, but I will updating this blog as soon as another piece falls into place!
