So I have a couple of thoughts to converse with you about. I'll start with the fact I have lucid dreams quite often (ever since I could remember). Though I have not astral projected as much as I have wanted. I have done it a handful of times were I can move, but usually I just get stuck in the paralyzation. I get freaked out and I try to force my body to move, because it happens on ACCIDENT. I don't do it intentionally. Have you done that? Do you know how to gain control and calm?

Yes!  I have had that exact experience.  It happened to me when I had no idea I was even astral projecting, and it scared the crap out of me.  I was laying on my couch one day, falling asleep, then I woke up, but I couldn’t move my body.  I tried to move my arm, but it felt like it weighed 100lbs.  So I went into full on panic mode trying to move anything I could, and after about 20 second of freaking out, motor functions came back.  I thought I was observing the first symptoms of some major disease.  I didn’t do much research at the time, until it happened a second time.  Then I was really scared.  Upon research, I found out that it was called REM sleep paralysis.  It mentioned astral projection and lucid dreaming, but I had no idea what either of those were at the time.  It wasn’t until two years later, when I started learning about tesla and sexual energy, that I accidentally stumbled into spirituality.  The way that you gain control is to not panic.  To let go of your ego. It is not an easy thing to do, but with practice, you will be able to.  When you want to get into that state purposely, losing control of your body is not scary, its welcomed.  You can get into that state simply by using breathing techniques, where you breathe deep and slowly, while letting go of all thoughts.  Your body will begin to breath for you, while you transcend to a higher level of conciousness. Once your body starts breathing for you, you are in sleep paralysis, where your body is asleep but your mind is awake.  Often you don’t even realize you can’t move your body, because you let go of all thoughts, and just be one with the universe.  So what you need to do, is stop going into that state by accident, and learn to go into it on purpose.  If you go to my archive, I have a post called, how to meditate, where I have described my method of getting there.  There is also a video series, which explains it in detail.  Check it out :) good luck! Let me know when you have had some success!
