Vitamin C
I know that I have talked about diet before, but there is one vitamin that I would really like to talk about. That would be vitamin c, it is an amazing vitamin, because not only can it be used for nutrition, it can be used to fight diseases, it can be used as a medicine. The daily dose that is recommended by health care professionals is the minimal dose possible, to avoid scurvy. They do not tell you what the maximum dose is, simply because, there isn’t one. In our current diets, we eat just enough vitamin c to keep us from getting scurvy, but not enough to make us healthy. Most animals are able to produce their own vitamin c through natural process’s in their body. It is said that humans a long time ago had this ability, but no longer do. So we cannot produce it, we must ingest it. The minimum dose is 100mg per day, but when you take 10,000mg to 20,000mg daily, you really start to notice a difference. In order to take this much vitamin c, you must buy a powder where a teaspoon is worth 5 grams or 5,000mg.
Vitamin C does numerous things for your heath, helps your bones, your teeth, promote your immune system, and when taken in large doses, it fights off virus’s and infections of just about any type. Some of the times, intravenous vitamin c injections are necessary, which administer up to 300 grams per day! This occurs for when you have a serious infection of some kind, including things like cancer and herpes. Large doses of vitamin C have been known to cure cancer. The amount of other diseases vitamin c has cured, is huge, over 30 major diseases! It also acts as an antihistamine and can help you fight off any insect bites or stings you may encounter. It also acts as a natural sunblock if taken shortly before going out in the sun. Vitamin c also helps improve iron absorbion in the body, so if the body has difficulty with iron, taking large doses of vitamin c will help change that.
It is impossible to overdose on vitamin C because when you have taken too much, the body flushes it out in diarrhea. One thing many people do, is see how high their tolerance for vitamin c is. This is called a vitamin c flush. They take 4,000mg every 15 minutes, until they must go to the washroom. This is an extremely healthy thing for you to do. It is like an enema style evacuation. The lymphatic system flushes itself out and all the toxins with it! Once you do a vitamin c flush, you will have a great sense of well being. Once you have determined how much vitamin c you can take, from that point on, you take only 75% of what would cause you to have diarrhea, so your body always has the most it can handle without going over its limit. This is where the real health benefits come from. The ascorbic acid is not dangerous at all to healthy normal cells, but dangerous or harmful cells cannot grow or reproduce in this acid, and they die off. Infact, your body will be able to tolerate much more vitamin c when you are sick, so if you limit was 20 grams, that may increase to 40 grams when you are sick, because the vitamin c fights infections before it gets evacuated. A sense of light headedness or fatigue are signs that the vitamin c is fighting an infection. You can get rid of the common cold within two days of taking large doses of vitamin c. If you remain on the vitamin c, the chances of catching a cold are very slim.
Once you start taking vitamin c, it is important that you don’t just stop when you are cured. Instead, taper off slowly to allow the body to adjust, because if you suddenly stop, it is possible, but not probable that you could get rebound scurvy… which is treated by taking more vitamin c lol. However the chances of this happening are very slim. There are literally no risks taking vitamin c, and if you are fighting a virus or infection of just about any type, talk to your doctor or naturopath about getting intravenous vitamin c.
I know you are probably asking right now, if vitamin c is so important and so good for you, why don’t doctors mention it. The answer is simple, doctors work for the pharmaceutical companies and are simply not taught about it, instead they are taught about all the anti-biotics that have bad side effects and are costly. Why do you think they load you up with pills every time you visit, even if they don’t really know whats wrong? If you talk to a naturopathic doctor, they would know all about it. Infact, if you google vitamin c flush, you will find over 2.5 million results about its benefits. It is worth checking out if you have any health problems. Don’t just take my word for it, the resources are out there. But it sure is nice to find these things out before you undergo all sorts of therapies and anti-biotics. It’s safe, cheap, and effective. Sounds like a win win to me.
