Appreciation

Over the past several months since my first experience I have noticed a new found sense of appreciation.  I never really used to give it much thought, but I have learned to question everything even if you think you already know what its about.  Have you ever just stopped and taken a look at the palm of your hand?  The amazing details of natures design, from the lines surrounding the fingertips to the intricate maze of lines covering the palm.  Can you appreciate the beauty of life when you realize that those lines are your identity, they are different for everyone.  How incredible is that?  Most of us don’t even take the time to think these things anymore, but the beauty of life is there, if you decide to question it.  You can’t help but appreciate the world we live in, how everything flows, how a sunny day lifts moods not only that of humans, but animals and plants as well.  Why does it?  When I realized I couldn’t answer that question, I couldn’t help but develop appreciation for it.  Then I started appreciating artwork and sculptures and statues. I appreciate the artist and how their mind came to bring about the reality of what it is that they percieved, and just that act alone is beautiful.  Then seeing the finished product, it is a form of admiration previously unknown to me.

I have found myself appreciating little things, such as how I feel at different times, how the body is fragile, and what I eat or do changes it so quickly, that I have a much greater respect for it.  I appreciate that I can sense the inner energies and feel at peace.  Something many have never experienced.  Appreciate the fact that we are spiritual beings having a human experience.  Appreciate that we are all connected and that the universe works in mysterious ways that we don’t always have to understand.  I appreciate family, and friendships more, because they mean so much. Appreciate how random acts of kindness with strangers can make your day, and it doesn’t matter if that kindness is being given to you, or you are the one giving it.  I have also developed appreciation for all the people out there with creative talents and skills such as playing musical instruments, and even more amazing when a group works together to deliver a beautiful song (such as in the post below this).

Appreciation for all the different perspectives people have, that your perspective of life is only but a small fraction of what life has to offer.  But the greater appreciation is when you can share these realities and mold them together into something beautiful, and create unforgettable memories.  We are never alone, because we carry within us all of the memories that define who we are, our reality, our world, goes with us everywhere, and no one can play you, better than you can.  Which is why I also have appreciation for being able to express myself, without being judged, without being told I’m wrong because my reality doesn’t mix with theirs.  I have appreciation for all of the amazing people I have met here on tumblr, you are all amazing and I know now that I am not alone in my perspective, that I’m not crazy, and that my experiences have been genuine.  It has been incredible reading all of your blogs and seeing the creativity that is ripe within humanity, and the fact that many people are under going a spiritual awakening.  As crazy as these times are, I find appreciation for the fact that I am here, during what could possibly be the most important time of human history.

I would like to say a warm heartfelt thank you to everyone here on tumblr, and those that have been reading my blog.  Appreciation is love, and love is everywhere.

Self Control

So I was asked the question: Are there other ways to realize that we are spiritual beings, besides astral projecting? The answer is yes, there are several. However, they all have one thing in common, and this is something that you must want to do. It requires effort, and a willingness to learn and be open minded. You will succeed if you persevere.

The issue I am talking about is self control. For anyone that thinks they have enough self control, they are mistaken. Self control is an ever evolving ability humans have. No matter how much self control we have, we can always always improve on it, because to master it fully, would mean you are perfect. If there is a way to master it fully, then that is yet to be experienced in the current world. Self control comes in many forms, on the basic level, it is management of emotions. Often we let things overwhelm us, we get stressed out about things because we don’t use self control. Many people will go to the gym to relieve stress, and while they are there, they forget about their stress temporarily. The same goes on more drastic scales such as drinking, or doing drugs, they give people escapes from reality until it comes back and hits them like a tidal wave. These methods, are not examples of self control. Another example, is when people get angry easily, or get road rage, or are easily bad tempered. They lack the ability to keep their emotions in check, which means they lack self control. The same goes with addictions, they lack the self control to break the addiction. The same also goes with those that are very clingy when falling in love. Anyone who becomes overwhelmed by their emotions has very little self control. Sometimes it is almost impossible to have self control, when something really drastic such as losing a loved one occurs, however, recognition of it is essential.

Self control goes beyond just emotions. It also goes hand in hand with awareness. The first thing you must understand is that you are a spiritual being, piloting a physical body. This means, that your body is nothing but a vehicle that is at your command. The average person is not aware that they can control many aspects of their body that they normally don’t think about. For example, breathing. When you learn breathing techniques, you find that you are able to make your body breathe on its own, without being consciously aware of it. Its like putting a car on cruise control, you have the ability to breath consciously, or automatically. Every time you fall asleep, you breath automatically. Try doing it while you are awake! It’s possible. You can even turn your body off, so it is paralized, but your mind is fully functioning. This is why awarness goes hand in hand with self control.

To gain more self control, you need to learn how to sense your emotions and feelings as they arrive, without letting them overwhelm you. When you get angry, notice yourself getting angry, and learn to control it. When you get hungry, tired, sad, happy, excited, horny, and feeling of love, notice it. Try to enhance the feelings with your mind, and try to decrease them, be aware of them. Everytime you get goosebumps, or inspirational chills down your spine, butterflies in your tummy, nervous lump in your throat,or the feeling of an adrenaline rush, you are experiencing your chakras. Be aware of these feelings, and you will find they they all have a different central location of where they originate from. Then you will eventually be able to feel the energy flowing to and from them, throughout your body. Becoming in touch with your bodies feelings, is essential to understanding spirituality. And there is a major mainstream activity, that promotes exactly what I am talking about. Yoga. Yoga is everywhere, and yoga is the key to anything spiritual. There are many different types of yoga, many different areas to learn. The whole purpose of the stretching and pose excercises, is to be able to feel the energy moving through your body easier, to become more aware of it, and to gain self control. Once you have mastered this, meditation yoga and astral projection soon follow. I will be writing another blog post in the future, about different energies of the body, from sexual energy, to ojas( life force energy), and kundalini Yoga.

Someone messaged me saying they don’t believe in astral projection, well I have a question for you. How can you not believe in something that you can experience first hand?

What Is Fear?

In a previous post, I talked about the ego vs the self. How the ego was responsible for sins, and judgements. It is also responsible for fear and evil. Have you ever stopped and asked yourself, what is fear? Go back in your memories and look at the times when you were afraid. Were you afraid because you were judging something? Or were you afraid because you couldn’t judge something? For example, take bungee jumping. Most people are afraid to do it, most won’t in their lifetime. Because they are giving into the fear that something bad might happen to them. They are judging it, before they have even tried it. Because the ego is telling you to be afraid. If you ask anyone that has gone bungee jumping, they will tell you it was amazing, and glad they defeated their fears about it. This fear is no different when it comes to many life experiences. Take a first date, the fear of rejection, the fear of a good first impression, the fear of making the first move and so on…When you learn to defeat your fear, by not giving into it, you get peace of mind about all of those things. It’s either a yes or a no. If yes, it was worth defeating your fears. If no, it was worth defeating your fears, because you no longer stress and ask the question: What if? Which also disables the possibility of regret.

Most people allow fear to run their lives. They fall into a routine life and rarely stray out of it. I know I am guilty of this. I know of several other people that are as well. But the ones that aren’t, have incredible lives, always happy, always doing something exciting, always having fun, no matter where they go, because they don’t let fear run their lives. This is because, fear is nothing but an illusion. It only exists, because you allow it to. Fear becomes non-existent when you defeat it. The same goes for experiences in life. Take horseback riding for example, someone may get on a horse and be knocked off, creating a fear of horseback riding. However, theres hundreds of others that never get knocked off and love every minute of it. So to the one person that fell off, it wasn’t evil, and it wasn’t fear that caused them to be knocked off the horse, it was simply, an accident. If they get back up on that horse, they would find that it is a good experience again. But some people would live in fear for the rest of their lives. You can take this scenario and put it in place in several different experiences, and the end result is the same. Fear is only what you make it out to be, nothing more, you create it, simply by judging with your ego.

Another good example about fear, is the performer. I’m sure everyone reading this can relate to the fact that when no one is watching, they tend to do things better than when someone is watching. Be it making a craft, singing a song, acting in a play, doing a dance and so on. Well when it comes time to go out on stage, often someone is afraid they will screw up and make a fool of themselves. They forget entirely that they did it perfectly when they were alone. They should be able to go out on the stage, and pretend no one is watching. Perform like no one is watching, and do it perfectly. To the average person, most of us wouldn’t even go out on the stage due to this fear. Or go out on stage and make a fool of themselves, or do a nervous performance. To the person that has learned to defeat their fears, they go out on the stage and give the audience the performance of a lifetime. They don’t let their ego judge the audience, thinking the audience is judging them. That is the difference. That is the illusion of fear.

Now that we have already established what sin is, and what fear is, what about evil? Evil is literally, a combination of the two. It is entirely an illusion, of both sin and fear. Greed is often the main source, when you look around the world at all the destruction, and all the peoples lives ruined by greed, the things people will do to another human being for a paycheck is retarded. To the victims, they fear these people, because they are the victims of the sins that are being done to them. So they are pecieved as evil people. Evil starts wars, creates poverty, destroys environments, and makes lives miserable. There are victims of every crime imaginable due to evil. But its only an illusion. It’s not real, only the consequences are real. And the consequences, come from the ego judging what is fear, what is sin, and what is evil. Do you see the illusion? Ego creates it for the perpetrator, whom is only acting on judgement of the ego. Ego also creates it for the victim, whom is only acting on the judgement of the ego. So when we can learn to defeat fear, there is no perpetrator, and there is no victim. Fear and Evil, would then cease to exist. All that would be left, is the loving goodness, and oneness, of the universe. We are all one. We are all connected. It’s just a matter of realizing this.

So now you’re probably thinking, what about the instinct of fear?  This is actually not fear.  When you have a genuine intuitive instinct that something might be wrong, or that danger is nearby, much like many animals do, it is not fear that causes this.  It is intuition, it comes from the self.  When you genuinely feel something is wrong, you’re not afraid so much as you are, knowing.  So when you’re in a dangerous situation, it is instinct, not judgement sending you a message.  This is to be trusted.  However this only occurs rarely, and when it does, you clearly know the difference between fear and instinct.
